These Bible Studies are made with children in mind; especially girls. I’m not going to say boys can’t do the reading plan, because I’m sure they can. The website name might turn them off a little- as it’s not a very ‘boy friendly’ name! lol. 😉
However, because this is such an easy and do-able method and the Reading Plan is very simple, this is a good fit for girls of any age. You can make it into whatever you want it to be.
- It could be a personal devotion they do on their own.
- It can be something you do together, or mentor them along.
- Or you could do it all orally with them over breakfast.
- Even for the very young child, this is certainly something you can do and they simply watch your example, and learn.
I encourage you to give them a notebook and teach them the TAP method (click here if you need a refresher on the TAP study method) If they are too young to write or read the verse, feel free to read it to them and have them draw a picture. You can also help them write the ‘prayer’ for the day. An easy ‘prayer’ item I have used for my girls is having them just give me one thing they want to thank God for that day. Or one person they want to pray for that day.
Just make some type of Bible time work for you, your schedule and your child. Whatever that looks like for you and your family is wonderful! 🙂
